Lips for Love
was founded by the Wildflower sisters- Cherisse age 15, Amareena age 14 and Isabel age 11, of Westmore, VT. The business began in early August 2007 with a bakesale in Barton, VT at the C&C Supermarket in which they raised enough money to buy the supplies needed. Their idea was to make Organic Lip Balms and
donate 10 % of the profits to organizations helping children.
Three weeks later they were selling their lip balms at the Waterbury Farmers Market in Waterbury, VT & had started a mailing list for customers interested in hearing the latest news about the business.
Presently, in Vermont, Lyndon Freighthouse Restaurant in Lyndonville, Lake Parker Store in West Glover, Currier's in Glover, Scampy's in W. Charleston, Wider Than the Sky in Newport, Buffalo Mountain in Hardwick, and in FLorida you can find the girls' lip balms at Good Food Conspiracy and Out of the Blue both on Big Pine Key, and Sugar Apple in Key West. The list is growing all the time.
Farmers Markets are another place to buy the girls lip balms. Check out our market schedule: Upcoming Shows Currently, the business' goals are to donate to a school in Ghana that allows children to attend for free.
Any donations to help the business pay for operating expenses are greatly appreciated as well as
any donations for childhood charities.
