Lips for Love
was founded by the Wildflower sisters- Cherisse age 15, Amareena age 13 and Isabel age 10, of Westmore, VT. The business began in early August 2007 with a bakesale in Barton, VT at the C&C Supermarket in which they raised enough money to buy the supplies needed. Their idea was to make Organic Lip Balms and donate 10 % of the profits to organizations helping children.
Three weeks later they were selling their lip balms at the Waterbury Farmers Market in Waterbury, VT & had started a mailing list for customers interested in hearing the latest news about the business.
Presently, Lyndon Freighthouse Restaurant in Lyndonville, VT & Lake Parker Store in West Glover, VT are selling the girls' lip balms. And the number of stores will be growing all the time.
Currently, the business' goals are to register with the VT Secretary of State, which costs $40, build a website and find out about packaging displays for the lip balms for stores.
The next step is to print up brochures about Lips for Love and get the word out.
The sisters would like to donate at least $1000.00 by the end of the year.
Any donations to help the business get on it's feet and help pay for operating expenses are greatly appreciated as well as any donations for childhood charities.
